A discount coupon is an easy way to save on your order. In this guide, we explain where you can get ElectroMall coupons, how to apply them, and the most common reasons why a coupon may not work.
How to Use a Coupon
Add the products you want to your cart and proceed to Checkout.
Find the Discount Code field and enter the coupon code exactly as you received it.
If you have created coupons using your points, you will find them ready to use under My Created Coupons. Simply select the coupon without entering the code manually.
Once the coupon is applied, the discount amount will appear in your Order Summary, and the total will update automatically.
Complete your order as usual.
Only one coupon can be applied per order. If you enter another coupon, it will replace the one currently applied.
You can also remove an applied coupon and return to the original order price at any time before confirming your order.
Convert Your Points into a Coupon
Points earned from your purchases cannot be used directly as payment. You must first convert them into a discount coupon.
Open the Points page from your account.
Select Convert Points to Coupon and choose the discount value you want.
Select Create Coupon. Your coupon code will appear immediately, with the option to copy it in one click.
The coupon will then be available under My Coupons, ready to use on your next order.
Keep these three points in mind:
Coupons created from points provide a fixed discount amount.
A minimum and maximum value applies to each coupon.
You must have enough points in your balance to create the selected coupon.
The applicable limits will be displayed on the page before you confirm the conversion.
Why Isn't My Coupon Working?
If the system rejects your coupon, you will usually see a message explaining the reason. Here are the most common issues:
“This coupon has expired.”
The coupon has passed its expiration date and can no longer be used or extended.
“This coupon is not valid yet.”
The promotion has not started yet. Check the coupon's start date.
“This coupon is no longer active.”
The coupon has been deactivated and is no longer available for use.
“This coupon requires a minimum purchase amount.”
The value of your cart is below the minimum amount required to use the coupon. Add another product to your cart or use a different coupon.
“This coupon has reached its maximum usage limit.”
The total number of available uses for the coupon across all customers has been reached.
“You have reached the maximum number of uses for this coupon.”
Some coupons have a limit on how many times each customer can use them. You have already reached the allowed limit.
“This coupon can only be used by the person it was issued to.”
Personal coupons — such as welcome coupons, birthday rewards, and coupons created from points — are linked to your account and cannot be shared with another customer.
“This coupon is not valid for your shipping city.”
Some promotions are available only in selected cities. Your current delivery city is not eligible for this coupon.
There is one more possibility that may not appear as an error message: some coupons apply only to specific categories or brands. If your cart does not contain an eligible product, the coupon will not apply.
Important Things to Know
A minimum cart value may be required before the coupon field becomes available. The required amount will be displayed during checkout.
Coupon discounts apply to the value of the products, not to delivery fees.
Make sure you are signed in before shopping. Personal coupons are linked to your account and will not be available when shopping as a guest.
Enable notifications to avoid missing welcome, birthday, cashback, and other promotional coupons sent through ElectroMall notifications.
